So, I had this epiphany last night. When I do art, it's like I'm having a conversation with the piece. I'll just use clay as an example. So, I'm just kind of making the clay into whatever it's being made into, and in general, that means I have absolutely no clue what that is, but it turns out better that way. Or, when I write. I might have a few things in mind when I start, but really, it's wherever the piece wants to take me in the end. The conversation is the art, while the physical piece (ie: what you see me post here on dA) is just the byproduct. The art has already taken place, and that's what got left over. Life is the same way. It's my conversation with God. I don't usually know where something is going until it happens, but it usually turns out pretty cool. Of course, the pretty cool stuff is just the byproduct. It's the living that's the art. Legacy is cool...but it's just what's left over.

I don't know if that made any sense at all.
